Lighthouse Updates
The response to Lighthouse so far has been overwhelming! Thanks to everyone who has signed up and offered their feedback. We've been listening, and working hard to squash some bugs and add new features we've had in the pipeline.
Some changes we've made since the launch
- Fixed annoying problem where invited users could only access a project through a direct link to that project. Now users can safely login to an account and be provided with relevant information regarding the projects they have access too.
- Enhanced support for IE 6 and Opera: There are still some issues to be corrected with IE 6, but for the most part, IE 6 users and Opera should have a better experience using Lighthouse.
- Account members are now able to edit and delete tickets, and ticket comments/updates.
- Fixed annoying issue where your display name had to be completely unique. No more Tom2 and Dan2.
- Cleaned up the API area; Now located under Settings. Updated documentation on how to use Beacons such as Changeset messages from subversion.
In the pipeline
- Saved ticket searches (e.g. My open tickets tagged with 'css')
- Auto archiving stale tickets with digest emails. Will elaborate on this more in a future post.
- Enhanced searching.
- Mass moving of tickets to another milestone.
- Updating more ticket information from emails.
- Enhancements and documentation on the API.
Thanks again to everyone who has signed up, offered their feedback, and help us track down bugs. If you guys need any general help we're constantly keeping an eye on our forums.
Stay tuned for more, we're continuously pushing updates!

How about a login link somewhere on the homepage?
You didn’t like my login-link-on-the-homepage suggestion?
Not in the last 90 minutes, no :) It’s in the next deployed version of Lighthouse though.
Keep up the good work guys. I’m loving Lighthouse.
It’d be nice to see a link to the Bug Tracker site, I’m having troubles sending in emails for tickets.
PS – Rick, I will eventually play Gears with you, you invited me at the wrong time :)
Zach: It’s linked at the bottom under “Found a bug?”. I have a ticket with some helpful hints on emailing tickets.
Here’s hoping you dominate all the other bug systems. You guys have the right philosophy to make it happen! http://skwpspace.com/2007/04/02/ui-matters/
yeah, props to laid back companies doing business their own way instead of becoming corporate bitches.
