Papa's Got a Brand New Bag

Serif fonts! What was I thinking on that last design, eh? Fortunately those days are behind us beacause Papa's got a brand new bag. We've redesigned.

I've been hard at work giving Active Reload a makeover. We wanted to focus more attention on our products and also make the blog easier to read and the content more accessible. Due to constraints on my time, I decided to borrow from myself, and based this redesign off of AlternateIdea.com, my personal blog which used to be EncyteMedia.

We really want to broaden the scope of the blog to include more technical articles and also talk about our experience with starting and running a company remotely, without any funding, and without any prior experience in the world of business.

We're also gonna be tumbling some cool things around the web. If you don't wish to subscribe to the tumblelog and articles, you can grab just the article feed. No matter which feed you subscribe too, you'll always receive updates about what's happening on the Lighthouse front.

On a final note, there may be some things that need tweaking in IE. I'll be tidying these things up over the weekend.

Great job on this Justin, a small note – the links in the top right corner… Just My personal opinion, but I find them “floating” out of the actual layout…

Really looking forward to your articles :)

Justin, Love the new design. Since I am in the process of moving my Wordpress blog to Mephisto (on my new Joyent Accelerator), I was wondering if you would be sharing your template with us? It’s PERFECT for what I am envisioning for the new working-code blog. Thanks!

    Hey Kevin,

Unfortunately I can’t hand over this design, it’s part of the official seal of Active Reload ninjas. Death would be certain for me.

Justin, No problem, I understand. Just know that I think the design is beautiful! Keep up the great work. Now I gotta go get Mephisto set up. So much to do, so little time…
