Get Notifications of Lighthouse Updates

3 comments on 75 words

Here’s a little experiment. Do you want to get notifications of new Lighthouse features or happenings? Maybe you could be notified of hot new features (or on a down note, the load balancer outage at Engine Yard this afternooon… Yikes).

I wrote a quick twitter script, so you can now follow along. (You can also subscribe to http://twitter.com/statuses/activereload.atom if you don’t get the whole twitter thing).

You guys stole the name for this application from Ray Camden – who was using the name Lighthouse for the same type of application…years before you guys stole it.

Hold up there Sergeant Hugh! We’ve talked with Ray and he promised not to lead us away in cuffs.

We offered to shine his shoes for a month, and noticed there was a Lighthouse even before his. We promised we wouldn’t tell those folks about either of our projects too.

It’s a secret pact we have with Ray, and your gonna have to take us all down to the station if you let the cat out of the bag.
